River Valley Rods and Customs of Lancaster, Ohio 43130

River Valley Rods & Customs is a non-profit corporation, formed under section 1702.01 et. seq. of the Ohio revised code. The club was founded in 1988 . As of 2013 membership totals twenty familys . Club members own a variety of vehicles ranging from 1929 to 2012.We enjoy getting together, having fun, and raising money & awareness for charitable organizations and other causes. The club endeavors to keep cruise-ins alive.

River Valley Rods & Customs officers are, Lowell Bixler (president), Bill Lecrone (vice president), Steve Schaeffer (treasurer), and Jinny Bosch (secretary). New officers are elected each December and attendance at monthly meetings is strongly urged. Members are required to attend at least six meetings a year in order to hold an office.

Stan the Man With a Plan is our D.J. at all of our cruise-ins. All equipment & supplies are brought to each event in our club van that was bought and maintained by the club. All of our cruise-ins feathers 50's and 60's music, 50/50 tickets, door prizes, games and sometimes raffles and auctions. Dash plaques are given to the first 50 entries. Trophies are awarded at the end of each cruise. All cruises are family oriented.

River Valley Rods & Customs helps host the annual Earth Angel Super Cruise ( www.earthangelfoundation.com ) held the 3rd. Saturday in June at the Fairfield Co. Fairgrounds in Lancaster,Ohio. Club president Lowell Bixler and club members Terry & Diane Smith serve on the board of directors for Earth Angels. River Valley Rods & Customs is willing to work with other clubs, groups, governmental agencies and / or corporations when the need arises for a benefit cruise.
